Huge haul Gardaí in Meath seize €102,300 worth of cocaine and cannabis during Navan raid

Gardaí have seized approximately €102,300 worth of drugs and arrested a man during a raid in Co Meath today.

The search of a house was conducted in the Macetown area of Navan by Gardaí attached to the Meath Divisional Drug Unit, Navan Regular Unit, the Armed Support Unit and the Garda Dog Unit.

During the search, approximately €100,870 worth of suspected cocaine and €1,500 of suspected cannabis were seized.

Various drug paraphernalia and €1,740 cash was also seized.

A man, aged in his late 20s, was arrested at the scene and taken to Trim Garda Station where he is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

In a statement, a garda spokesperson said that investigations are ongoing.
