'Significant damage' Gardai appeal for witnesses after petrol bomb attack in Dundalk, Co Louth

Gardaí are appealing to any person that was in the vicinity of Hoey's Lane between 1am and 2am and Mill Lane between 1:50am and 3am and saw a silver saloon car to make contact with them.

Gardaí have issued an appeal for information about an arson incident in Dundalk, Co Louth on August 23rd. 

Gardaí were alerted to a fire caused by a petrol bomb in the town’s Rockfield Manor area at approximately 1.55am on Monday morning.

Fire services extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported but the property was significantly damaged.

In particular, Gardaí are appealing to any person that was in the vicinity of Hoey's Lane between 1am and 2am and Mill Lane between 1:50am and 3am and saw a silver saloon car to make contact with them.

Any road users that may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and who were travelling in these areas at these times are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
