Farmer injured after confronting three burglars on his property in Kildare

A Kildare farmer was left injured after confronting three intruders attempting a burglary on his property.
The incident took place on a farm in Ballytore Hill, near Athy, in the early hours of Friday 3rd December.
Gardaí were called to the scene after three intruders were spotted breaking into sheds at the back of the farm.
The farm owner was injured when he confronted the burglars. His injuries were not life-threatening.

A garda spokesperson confirmed that the intruders later left the scene in a car.
No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.
