Gardai seized drugs with an estimated street value of €70,000 in Finglas yesterday afternoon in an operation aimed at taking on serious and organised crime in Finglas and North Dublin.
Officers attached to Finglas Garda station who were supported by members of the Scenes of Crime unit conducted a search operation at a site in Finglas, as part of an intelligence led investigation.
“The operation took place over a number of hours on Monday afternoon and cannabis and zopiclone tablets (subject to analysis) with an estimated street value of €70,600 were seized,” gardai said.

“The drugs will now be forwarded for analysis.”
Gardaí added that there were no arrests during the operation but that investigations are ongoing.
