CCTV captures moment car is set alight after being doused with petrol outside Dublin home
This is the shocking moment two cars were set alight outside a Dublin family home in a terrifying firebomb attack.
The CCTV footage shows an individual arriving on the back of a motorbike being ridden by another person.
The attacker then dismounts the bike and approaches two cars parked in the driveway of the house at St Ronan’s Way, Ronanstown, Clondalkin, carrying a container.
They then appear to pour petrol over the first of the two cars parked in the driveway before making their way to the second vehicle.
The pair then pour more petrol around this car and as they bend down at the rear of the vehicle they are almost engulfed in a ball of flame.
They then make their escape as both vehicles burst into flames.
In a second video posted by the terrified family, a person is seen approaching a vehicle parked in the same driveway on a different date and throwing a heavy object through the rear window.
The shocking incidents caught on camera were, according to the family, just two in a long series of attacks on their home.
Charlene Quinn (33) said they were terrified that they will be killed if the attacks continue.

Charlene Quinn
“The video that we posted on Facebook was actually the second fire attack on the house,” she revealed. “That happened in July 2019. There was another fire attack, previous to that, in May.”
Charlene who lives in the family home with her mother, her younger brother and her 10-year-old son told how there were a number of previous incidents.
“The cars were getting smashed up, there were assaults (on family members) as well, on more than one occasion.
“We’ve been warned that we’re all going to die. It has been going on for five or more years.
“There have been bricks (thrown) through the front porch, on top of us.
"As well as the fire attacks, the porch has been smashed in and the siting room windows have all been smashed in too.
“It had been happening every couple of months, in the evenings and at nightime.
“The gardai have been called on every incident, to investigate, but it hasn’t gone anywhere at all.
"The reason we’ve posted the video on Facebook now is to highlight what is happening to our family.
“We came to the Sunday World (to highlight the attacks) as people have told us, our neighbours, our friends, that they’re afraid four body bags will be brought out.”
Charlene added that while there have been no further physical attacks on the house, they have been subjected to intimation with figures standing outside the house at night while at other times they have heard people shouting in that they are all going to be murdered.
