Gardai have seized cannabis edibles worth over €33,000 along with over €14,000 in cash in Bluebell, Dublin 12.

Community Engagement officers from Kilmainham and Kevin Street garda stations stopped a driver at approximately 6am on Sunday morning.

After searching the vehicle under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, 1977/84, they found cash and a small amount of cannabis.

The driver, a man in his mid 30s, was arrested and taken to Kevin Street Garda station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Gardai then raided a house and seized cannabis jellies with an estimated street value of €33,700 along with "an array of drug paraphernalia."

A man (40s) and woman (30s) were arrested and were detained at Kevin Street Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

The two men were charged in relation to the seizure and appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice, this morning Monday, August 9, at 10.30am.

The woman was charged and will appear in court on September 1, 2021.
