
drug arrest €150,000 worth of suspected cocaine discovered after drugs raid in Kildare
A man in his 30s is being quizzed by gardai this afternoon after he was arrested during a drugs raid on a house in Co Kildare yesterday evening.
Gardaà targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Naas area carried out a search of a residential property in Sallins, where they discovered €150,000 worth of suspected cocaine.
Other drug paraphernalia was also seized.
The man who was arrested at the scene is currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Newbridge Garda station.
Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
