Gardai seize enormous haul of MDMA and ecstasy worth €5m in Tallaght, Dublin

Gardai have seized a huge haul of drugs worth an estimated €5m after swooping on a premises in Tallght, Dublin yesterday.
Tallaght Gardaí and officers from the Tallaght District Drugs Unit obtained a search warrant to raid a property after receiving information on Friday, November 20.
During the search, they uncovered two large plastic barrels which contained 76.9kg of suspected ecstasy tablets packed in bags and 8.27kg of suspected MDMA in blocks.

The haul is believed to be worth a whopping €5 million and all drugs seized are subject to analysis.
A garda spokesperson said: "The scene is currently preserved for technical examination. No arrests have been made at this time."
