A WOMAN arrested by gardai after they seized €100,000 in cash as well as cannabis herb at a Dublin residence has been released without charge.

The woman, who is aged in her 30s and originally from China, was arrested when gardai from the National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau carried out a raid at the property on Thursday.

It is understood gardai had raided the property as part of investigation into the suspected sale and supply of drugs by a man known to the woman.

A total of €105,660 in cash was seized at the property along with €5,000 of suspected cannabis herb, which is subject to analysis.

Gardai questioned the woman at Store Street Garda Station before releasing her on Friday while a file is prepared for the DPP.
