Two men are due in court this morning after gardai seized €220,000 worth of cannabis and over €5,000 cash in Carrickmines on Monday.
The pair were arrested and later charged after Gardai carried out a raid on a house in Carrickmines, Dublin 18, as part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in the area.
During the course of the search, Gardaà seized 11kg of suspected cannabis herb, in various sized packaging, with an estimated street value of €220,000.
Gardaà also recovered suspected cannabis resin to the value of €1,000, a small quantity of cocaine, €5,250 in cash and various drug packaging paraphernalia.
Both men are due to appear before Dun Laoghaire District Court this morning, at 10.30am.
