Man due in court in connection with 'animal welfare incident' in Dublin

A man is due in court this morning after he was arrested in connection with an “animal welfare incident in Ashtown in Dublin.
The man in his 60s has been charged with a number of offences relating to the Animal Health and Welfare Act, 2013 after he was arrested by gardai as part of an ongoing investigation.
Gardai said the investigation is being carried out under the Animal Health and Welfare Act, 2013 at an animal centre in North Dublin.

He is expected to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Dublin, Court 4, at 10.30am this morning.
