Man arrested by gardai investigating damage of DART at Clontarf station

A man has been arrested by gardai investigating damage of a DART at Clontarf station on Wednesday..
The man, who is aged in his early 20s, was arrested after gardaí were notified of an incident of criminal damage by staff from Clontarf DART Depot at approximately 7.20pm.
He was brought to Clontarf Garda Station where he was subsequently charged.
He is scheduled to appear at Central Criminal Courts this morning.

Gardai said the arrest follows an inter-agency operation last month involving officers in DMR North and Iarnród Éireann who were targeting incidents of graffiti and criminal damage on the North Dublin train line.
