A man accused of sexually assaulting a female at a Dublin hotel has been granted bail with conditions.

The man, aged 39, was accused of carrying out the alleged sex crime on a date last week at a hotel in the city centre.

The accused, a foreign national, of no-fixed abode and was granted bail with strict conditions when he appeared at Dublin District Court.

He was ordered to sign on regularly at a garda station, to surrender his passport and provide gardai with the number of his mobile phone on which he must remain contactable at all times.

He must appear again in November.
