FOUR members of a Dublin family have been sent forward for trial accused of insurance fraud.
Winnifred Lawrence, 72, of Moorefield Grove, Clondalkin, Eileen Lawrence, 50, Patrick Lawrence, 58, and Thomas Lawrence, 21, of Moyglas Glade, Lucan, appeared again at Dublin District Court. It followed a three-month adjournment to allow prosecutors to prepare the case.
Judge Treasa Kelly noted the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) directed trial on indictment in the Circuit Court. Gardai served books of evidence on the four who remain on bail.

The court heard they met investigating officers by appointment at Clondalkin Garda station.
They are accused of various offences, including deception of insurance firms, to compensate for false personal injuries, contrary to the Theft and Fraud, and giving misleading information under the Civil Liability and Courts Acts.
The offences are alleged to have taken place around Dublin on various dates.
Legal aid was granted, and Judge Kelly administered the formal warning that they must notify the prosecution if they intended to use alibis in their trial.
