Wild Cat breaks into home for a snack
A wild cat broke into a woman's home looking for a snack.
The owner of the house in Chile, South America, returned from an outing to find her window had been broken and spotted the puma scavenging for food in her kitchen.
She took pictures of the predator from outside of the house and contacted local animal carers who sedated it and transported it to a nearby zoo.
The wild cats are known for being solitary and nocturnal and tend to eat other animals such as rabbits and pigs and experts are therefore shocked that it appeared to enter the house in a similar fashion to a 'cat burglar' and then began searching for a snack.
