Teen shot in paramilitary-style attack in Poleglass

A teenager has been injured in a paramilitary-style shooting in west Belfast.

It happened in the Glenkeen area of Poleglass on Thursday night.

The 18-year-old was forced to lie down on the ground before being shot once in each leg.

It is understood the man had been walking in the area just after 8pm before he was approached by his attackers.

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Police have described one of the attackers as around 5'10'' tall and of heavy build.
