Tori Spelling: Our family is stronger than ever
Tori Spelling can’t wait for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday because it’s a chance to celebrate the strength of her family.
The former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress has four children with husband Dean McDermott. Tori’s marriage has certainly had its up and downs, particularly after Dean admitted to being unfaithful, but the 42-year-old insists she and her spouse have moved on from their turbulent past.
As Tori and her brood prepare for the annual turkey feast on 26 November (15), the actress shared a blog post with fans revealing she is more than a little excited about the occasion.
“The holidays are such a special time to be with family and friends, and Thanksgiving is a favourite here in the McDermott household,” Tori wrote. “Not only is there amazing food and a chance to do some pretty fabulous decorating, but we also get the chance to remind ourselves how grateful we are for all that we have and each other! Our family is stronger than ever, and this Thanksgiving we have so much to be thankful for.”
Tori’s post came as she promoted her family’s upcoming Thanksgiving special on the Cooking Channel.
Thanks to their reality star parents, Tori and Dean’s children - eight-year-old son Liam, seven-year-old daughter Stella, four-year-old Hattie and three-year-old Finn – have grown up in the spotlight.
All four of the children feature in the holiday special, with Tori admitting they “steal the show” with their on screen antics.
“You don’t want to miss this special!” Tori continued. “Dean and I (and all the kiddos) cook up a storm… and the kids and I are inspired to ” Go Green” this year with an edible tablescape, and the end result is a really fun Thanksgiving meal. We share this special holiday with our closest friends; Gusband Mehran, Guncles Bill and Scout and cousins Simone and Baby Boz!
“For any of you who love cooking, crafting, and all things Thanksgiving, you don’t want to miss this. Not to mention the kids are so cute and totally steal the show!”
