Thurman: Dignity is all a parent desires
Uma Thurman is in awe over the “dignity and respect” her children possess.
The 45-year-old Pulp Fiction actress is mother to daughter Maya, 16, son Levon, 13, and three-year-old daughter Luna.
She shares her eldest children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke and Uma is amazed by the parenting job they’ve done.
“I’m madly in love with all of my children and very proud of them,” she gushed to People magazine. “I think they conduct themselves with a lot of dignity and respect for others. It’s all a parent could dream of.”
Uma recently hosted the launch of two new learning apps by Kuato Studios called Dino Tales and Safari Tales.
Kuato Studios is a learning-through-gaming company which prides itself on providing premiere interactive education.
Learning in new and interactive ways has always been a great passion of Uma’s.
“I try to maintain my continued work on early childhood and literacy,” she shared. “This affiliation was a really natural fit, because the game has an education aspect in the forefront which is really important for today’s kids.”
Uma starred in director Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill movie series.
At Comic-Con International San Diego earlier this month, rumours were rife the filmmaker is planning to add a third instalment to the franchise.
But Uma isn’t sure whether that’ll happen.
“[Quentin] likes to tease everybody. Who knows? We’ll see,” she said. “We’ve discussed it over the years. I’m so crazy about the original work he’s come up with over time.
“He would apply the same discipline of originality to a trilogy of Kill Bill, but I don’t know if he’s the type of person to retrace his steps. At least it would be very fresh if he approached it, it would be something wild.”
