Terrence Howard to become a father for the fifth time
Empire actor Terrence Howard is to become a father for the fifth time, as his wife Mira Pak debuted her baby bump on the red carpet on Friday night (20May16).
The 47-year-old and his third wife looked delighted by their happy news as they posed together on red carpet at an event to celebrate his hit Fox drama in Los Angeles, with Mira resting a hand protectively on her visible bump.
The couple, which married in late 2013, only welcomed its first son together, Qirin, in May last year (15), but despite divorcing in July, it quickly reconciled and has clearly wasted no time in expanding its brood.
Just as the pregnancy announcement was done with minimal fanfare, the couple's divorce only came to light during the actor's court battle with his second wife Michelle Ghent over their divorce settlement.
At the time, Mira was referred to as Terrence's "ex-wife", before his agreement with Michelle was overturned by a judge, who stated the actor had been coerced into signing it after their split in 2011.
Soon after the ruling, Terrence and Mira rekindled their relationship, walking the Emmy Awards red carpet together arm in arm in September (15) and by Christmas, the star was already thinking about becoming a father again.
"We're hopefully trying to make another baby...," he told Extra. "We want astrology, we want the signs to match up, we need a baby born in September."
By the size of Mira's bump, the couple could well be on course to achieve its aim, with the new arrival becoming a sibling to Terrence's older children, daughter's Heaven and Aubrey as well as son Hunter and little Qirin.
The actor welcomed his elder three children with first wife Lori McCommas, who he married in 1989 before divorcing in 2003.
However they remarried in 2005 before splitting for a second time in 2007, Terrence then tied the knot with Michelle in 2010.
As well as his role as a father to his four offspring, Terrence is also a grandfather through Aubrey, who has two children.
