Terrence Howard ‘divorce finalised’

Terrence Howard has reported divorced for the third time.

The Empire actor married Mira Pak in October 2013 and together they have son Qirin, three months. But during a court hearing regarding the settlement of his second divorce from Michelle Ghent, Mira was reportedly referred to as his “ex-wife”.

The 46-year-old was testifying in a Los Angeles court to try and get his divorce settlement to Michelle overturned. During his time on the witness stand, the lawyer speaking with him alluded to the end of his third union with Mira. According to the New York Daily News, a source said his latest divorce was granted in Chicago, Illinois the day before his deposition in the proceedings with Michelle.

Terrence and Mira tied the knot after a whirlwind romance and the actor didn’t confirm the end of their marriage during his testimony in court.

While Mira was in court last week to show support to her spouse, on Monday Terrence was grilled about a phone call he made to Michelle soon after marrying Mira.

“I will never love someone like I loved you," he could be heard saying in excerpts from the October 2013 call. "You are my dream of all time."

When Michelle asks the star why he left her heartbroken and married another woman, Terrence said it was because he had the chance to settle but had a deep “desire” for a deeper connection.

"I have the most brilliant mind in the f*** ing world," he said.

However Terrence added last week that Michelle had forced him to sign their divorce papers in 2012 and threatened on a number of occasions to release a video of him dancing naked in a bathroom.

When asked by the lawyer why he would profess his love for Michelle if she had been trying to extort money from him just 12 months before, Terrence could only reply that it was complicated.

“I loved her, and I was afraid of her also," he said.

The stars representative is yet to confirm the reports of his divorce from Mira.
