Stan Lee sued by former assistant

Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee has been accused of "severe and constant” mental abuse by a former assistant.

Shawn Lukaszewicz, 29, has sued the 92-year-old Marvel comics star, his 93-year-old wife Joan and their daughter Joan Celia, 67 and is claiming punitive damages. The paperwork alleges they caused him emotional stress by constantly throwing insults at him when he worked for them between October 2014 until June this year, when he was fired.

The lawsuit was filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court and goes into extensive detail about the claims, according to New York Post. One allegation involves an incident in April, when Lee was due to meet champion boxer Manny Pacquaio. Lukaszewicz alleges he drove him to meeting, but because Pacquaio was preparing to fight Floyd Mayweather he wasn't able to attend. It is claimed that Lee blamed his assistant for this, accusing him of driving too slowly and using foul language in the process.

He allegedly called Lukaszewicz a"[f **king] idiot" and claimed he had "wasted my time ... Everyone at the office thinks you are a [f**king] a*shole".

Other claims include Lee becoming furious with Lukaszewicz when he tried to bring him some letters. "Get the [f**k] out and never ring my damn doorbell again," the Marvel man is alleged to have said.

When Lukaszewicz started working with the superhero star he was tasked with creating a booth for Lee's annual Comikaze Expo, a convention with celebrates comic, horror, sci-fi and other movie genres. What Lukaszewicz came up with reportedly didn't make the grade, with Lee apparently stating he'd done a "sh*tty job".

Lee's daughter, who is known as JC, is also accused of being verbally abusive. It is alleged she called the former assistant "f**king stupid", a "retarded a*shole" and her "little b***h".

"[He was] constantly reminded how lucky he was to work for the most powerful people in the entertainment industry, and he, therefore, should ‘suck it up’ and be thankful for the abuse," Lukaszewicz legal team claims in the paperwork.

JC's attorney has responded to the allegations, insisting they are entirely without merit. "[The lawsuit] should never have been filed and will likely quickly be dismissed," Kirk Schenck said, adding his client already has another lawsuit against Lukaszewicz underway.

"Mr. Lukaszewicz committed fraud, conversion and breach of contract against, and harassed and falsely imprisoned, JC Lee leading to his immediate dismissal," the lawyer claimed.

This paperwork claims the incident happened in June, with allegations that Lukaszewicz wouldn't let JC get out of her car after they had driven to San Francisco and spent time threatening her. He is also accused of cutting her out of business deals.

Lee's company POW! Entertainment is also named in Lukaszewicz's suit, and spokespeople are yet to respond to the allegations.
