Simon Cowell signs Isaac Waddington
Simon Cowell has signed 'Britain's Got Talent' finalist Isaac Waddington.
The 15-year-old singer wowed the judges with his musical skill during the competition, leading to the music mogul flying the youngster to London shortly after he finished his GCSEs to offer him a recording contract with his label, Syco.
A source said: "Isaac was a firm favourite of Simon's throughout the show. Simon believes he can be a huge, credible chart star and potentially his version of Ed Sheeran.
"He writes his own material and proved he can perform live completely unfazed."
The young talent reportedly sealed the deal on Wednesday (03.06.15) after once again performing for the 'Britain's Got Talent' judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden at the Together for Short Lives Midsummer Ball.
However, Isaac - who was the most successful solo singer on the 2015 ITV series, finishing in fourth place - is "not going to rush" into anything with his music as he wants to be certain of his style before releasing an album.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "But he's not going to rush anything out. Simon's keen to take his time with Isaac and work out which direction to go, musically."
As well as his record deal, the teenager revealed on Twitter he has also gained a manager to look after his flourishing career.
He wrote: "Stoked to have @ROARGlobal as my managers. Good things to come. (sic)"
