Selma Blair: The Kardashians have changed the world
Actress Selma Blair has praised the Kardashian family for changing “the face of Earth”.
The 43-year-old star portrays Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner in forthcoming TV series American Crime Story.
Selma admits she is a huge fan of Kris’ television show Keeping Up with the Kardashians and the actress is proud to play the reality celebrity in American Crime Story.
"[Kris is] a very strong person and I'm happy to be associated with her in any way,” Selma gushed to People magazine, noting the Kardashian clan is equally impressive. “I genuinely think that they're a family that loves each other, and I find them to be very comforting TV. I think the whole family has changed the face of Earth."
The first season of FX series American Crime Story focuses on O.J. Simpson’s murder trial in 1995, where he was accused of killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and waiter Ronald Lyle Goldman.
Kris’ former late husband Robert Kardashian served as O.J.’s defense attorney throughout those court proceedings.
Selma is happy Kris has achieved international fame in her own right, as she believes the matriarch is amazing in every way.
"It makes me sound so creepy, because I gush about Kris all the time and it sounds like I'm stalking [her]," Selma smiled. "But people have been asking me, so it's not like I'm just volunteering my undying love for Kris.
"I think we all have Kris Jenner osmosis, so it's not too hard. She's a part of all of our lives somehow."
Even though Selma is elated with portraying Kris on American Crime Story, not all of her castmates are having the same experience.
Cuba Gooding Jr. plays O.J. Simpson in the programme and he previously admitted the part can become very disturbing at times.
“Some days it’s dark, really dark,” he confessed to Variety.
