Rebecca Hall weds co-star

Rebecca Hall married Morgan Spector on Saturday (26Sep15).

The 33-year-old British-born actress tied the knot with former co-star Morgan in Saugerties, New York, according to Us Weekly.

The outlet reports the couple held their rehearsal dinner on Friday night (25Sep15), with world-famous magician David Blaine entertaining guests with his trickery.

Rebecca and Morgan first met when they starred together in Broadway show Machinal.

They started dating shortly after Rebecca split from director Sam Mendes.

Rebecca and Sam met when they worked together on 2006 movie Starter For Ten, when Sam was still married to Kate Winslet.

It was claimed at the time that Kate was unhappy about her spouse’s relationship with Rebecca and even insisted on sitting in on rehearsals for the two theatre productions he cast the actress in.

Kate and Sam announced their split shortly afterwards.

Rebecca and Morgan never officially confirmed their romance, but were photographed holding hands in July 2015.

“She fell for him when they played lovers on stage and they are now living together in Brooklyn, New York,” a source told the Daily Mail Online that month.

Rebecca first found fame starring in Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona and has gone on to star in films including Iron Man 3 and The Town.

She has also had huge success treading the boards in London and hopes never to have to give up stage acting.

“I never think of it as getting my start,” Rebecca told Interview magazine of her start in the acting business. “I always want to carry on stage acting. Right now, films seem to be taking up a lot of my time. If the parts weren't so good right now, I think I'd probably be doing a lot more theater. But suddenly I'm excited by what's coming my way, so I don't really want to stop film acting right now. And I love film acting—I'm not snobby about it. I don't think that theater acting's a more noble profession. I think they're both very important. I love both. And in my dream world, I'd get to do both forever.”
