One Direction to appear on Family Guy
One Direction are set to appear on 'Family Guy'.
The 'Perfect' hitmakers - Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson - are due to make an appearance on the popular comedy show in an episode that sees character Chris running for homecoming king.
In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, Family Guy executive producers Richard Appel and Steve Callaghan said: "There are not a lot of shows that, in the same season, feature guest-star appearances by both Frank Sinatra, Jr. and One Direction.
"And we really enjoyed their time with us, until we realized we were both old enough to be their fathers."
The episode will see the 'Night Changes' singers join Stewie around a campfire where he tells them a story about the horror of non-skinny jeans, with only Liam and Louis having recorded audio for the episode.
The band's boss and founder Simon Cowell is also set to make an appearance in the scene but it has not yet been confirmed whether he will voice the part himself or an actor will fill in for him.
One Direction are currently having some time away from the spotlight, with Niall recently assuring fans on Twitter that he was doing alright.
After nearly a week of silence on the social media site, the 22-year-old singer wrote: "Hey guys just to let ya know , I'm still here don't worry. Just keeping my head down and enjoying the break , hope you understand . Love you (sic)"
