The 'Game of Thrones' actress says she doesn't go anywhere without her yoga mat because being active helps her to stay calm and focused.
She said: "My yoga mat will always be in my luggage. Yoga is invaluable when you're on long-haul flights a lot. But I do it for my mind as much as my body. Actually, that's true of my relationship with all exercise.
"When you work the unnatural hours that actors work, and when you fly as much as we do, you have to pay attention to your body - or else you're a disaster ready to happen."
Despite being known for her fit figure, the 'Hunger Games' star, 33, admits she doesn't know how she trained for the April 2014 London Marathon after being on the set of the latest film in the franchise for 12 hours every day in Atlanta.
She told the April issue of SELF magazine: "I actually look back on it now and think, 'F**king hell, how did I do that?' "
Natalie also claims she isn't a morning person and relies on fresh juices to boost her energy.
She said: "When you have early calls, you don't necessarily want to eat first thing in the morning. But you have such long days that if you don't, you really fall down from it. So, juicing before and eating later is, for me, a good nutritional compromise."
