Michelle Keegan walked down aisle to Shania Twain song

Michelle Keegan walked down the aisle to Shania Twain's 'From This Moment On'.

The 'Ordinary Lies' actress tied the knot with former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Mark Wright last weekend and it's now been revealed they chose to have the hit single from 1997, which features the lyrics, "From this moment life has begun. From this moment you are the one", playing while she walked down the aisle.

The brunette beauty shared: "We listened to that song a year ago and the words meant so much it made me cry. It was like our song."

The 28-year-old hunk believes it was the perfect song and admits he could hardly control his emotions when he looked back and saw his wife-to-be walking towards him.

He told HELLO! magazine: "When I first saw Michelle, I looked up to the ceiling, trying to hold it together."

Mark added: "Every time I looked back at Michelle, I went to cry. I didn't know if I'd be able to keep looking at her. But then I thought, 'You know what? I'm not going to miss this', so I turned back and watched her as she walked towards me."

The former 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant and his 27-year-old wife also treated their guests to a surprise performance of the 'Time of our Life' dance from 'Dirty Dancing'.

Michelle explained: "I love surprises at weddings. I'd YouTubed wedding dances and saw it and we thought it would be really good to do that - not as a first dance, but as a surprise."

And Mark's 'Strictly' partner Karen Hauer and her fiance Kevin Clifton helped them to learn the routine.

Karen added: "We spent a couple of days with them where Mark and I used to train in Essex. It was amazing how it came together. It was like watching Patrick Swayze and Baby. The lift was beautiful."
