Michael B. Jordan: Mum rocks the dancefloor
Michael B. Jordan would dance with his mother anywhere.
The 28-year-old actor has landed his biggest role to date as Johnny Storm / Human Torch in the Fantastic Four reboot, in which he stars alongside the likes of Kate Mara and Jamie Bell.
Despite his soaring fame Michael remains down to earth, and there's no one else he'd rather party with than his mum Donna.
"With my mom at the Lupus LA Orange Ball. She likes a little two-step. She's a good dancer; she has a little bit more grace than I do. I'll dance with her anywhere," he grinned to People after being quizzed on when the last time he danced was.
Proving his celebrity status hasn't gone to his head, Michael still gets starstruck when in close proximity of fellow A-listers and shared the last time he was left in awe with the magazine.
"I met Jay Z and Beyoncé [Knowles] at the Met Gala. I was debating whether to go over to them, but I was there with Kate [Mara], and she was like, 'Just go, you'll regret it if you don't,'" he recalled. "It was cool. He said he was a fan of mine too, which felt great."
His success has provided the star with the chance to buy his own house, but the process is frustrating as he doesn't want to commit until he finds the right one.
With such a busy life Michael is constantly on the move, so it's no surprise things disappear occasionally.
"I lost my driver's license about a month ago. I don't have a wallet, so I'm like free-bailing with my ID and my credit card," he laughed. "I'll just reach in my pocket and it's not there."
Despite replacing his license, Michael still hasn't bought a wallet.
