Matt LeBlanc reunites with old friend Matthew Perry in London
Matt LeBlanc had a mini-reunion with his former Friends co-star Matthew Perry in London over the weekend.
Perry is currently starring in his self-penned play The End of Longing, at the West End's Playhouse Theatre, and LeBlanc, who is one of the new co-hosts of British motoring show Top Gear, was in the audience on Saturday (30Apr16).
The Episodes star took to Instagram on Sunday (01May16) to share a snap of himself next to Perry, and added the caption: "Went to see The End of Longing last night and ran into this dude. He and the cast were great. Way to go bro."
The two old friends' meet-up comes months after Perry skipped an onscreen reunion with his former sitcom castmates for a U.S. TV special tribute to director James Burrows. Perry had just begun production on his play in London, but David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, and LeBlanc came together in Los Angeles for the event.
Perry, who appeared via a video message, told The Huffington Post he wasn't too upset he missed out on the get together, because he didn't consider it to be a full-blown reunion.
"It was just six people getting together for a Jim Burrows special," he said. "It wasn’t really a reunion. And I couldn’t do it because I was in London doing my play."
Perry will be ending his West End run on 14 May (16), while LeBlanc will make his Top Gear debut two weeks later on 22 May (16), when the popular show returns for its 23rd season.
