Lindsay Lohan 'keen to start a family'

Newly engaged Lindsay Lohan reportedly has a new goal in mind – getting pregnant.

The Mean Girls star became engaged to 23-year-old Russian businessman Egor Tarabasov in April (16), and is apparently very keen to have a baby.

While the couple haven’t officially made a statement about their engagement, Lindsay’s father Michael Lohan confirmed the rumours in an interview with Access Hollywood Live!

Now 29-year-old Lindsay is already looking to the future, and the reformed starlet, who has survived rehab and a short stint in jail following a sentence for probation violation, is reportedly ready to completely ditch her party girl lifestyle for motherhood.

“It’s been tough, but Lindsay has cut back on the cigarettes and booze. She’s eating healthier and trying to be in a relaxed frame of mind,” an insider told Heat Magazine. “She’s even started reading pregnancy guide, What To Expect When You’re Expecting.”

The loved up actress has been happily posting pictures of herself with Egor on Instagram, and even uploaded a snap of a shopping trolley filled to the brim with healthy food which she captioned: “Groceries for cooking night #cook#fresh”.

In May (16) the smitten couple attended a private screening of Disney sequel Alice Through The Looking Glass at London’s Bulgari Hotel, after celebrating Egor’s 23rd birthday with a romantic lunch. And if Lindsay gets her wish, two may soon become three, as the source claims the actress has been dropping lots of hints and her “family are on standby for an announcement.”

“One thing’s for sure – she will do everything she can to make this happen,” the insider continued.

Alluding to the star’s previously wild antics, the source added: “As crazy as it sounds, she’s convinced that all her mistakes in life will make her a better mother.

“She jokes that after everything her parents put her through, like getting divorced then her dad ending up in rehab and prison, she at least knows what not to do.”
