Glee's Lea Michele is overwhelmed with gratitude after Scream Queens' premiere yesterday (22Sep15).

The show, created by Ian Brennan, Brad Falchuk and American Horror Story's Ryan Murphy, stars some of the hottest names in showbiz and has been eagerly anticipated by fans.

Last night (22Sep15) its stars engaged with their followers on social media as it made its debut on US television network Fox. Among them was Lea, who is ecstatic with the many positive comments she received.

"Today was such an incredible day w/ @ScreamQueens premiere & #YouFirst release! Feeling so so happy & grateful right now! Love you all!," she wrote on Twitter, also thanking Ryan.

"I love you so much @MrRPMurphy thank you for this amazing show and incredible character.. I'm so grateful! (sic)"

Emma Roberts is also a part of the comedy-horror project, starring as Chanel Oberlin. Her clever lines have already inspired several memes and tweets of appreciation from fans.

"Good night everybody!!! Thank you for all the love and support #ScreamQueens see you here next week!!!!!! (sic)" she wrote in response.

And the show doesn't just boast big stars - it also seems to have attracted some famous fans. Among them is Pretty Little Liars' Ashley Benson, who tweeted: "You KILLLLLLLLED (sic) it tonight!!!!! Only through part 1. I'm obsessed @RobertsEmma @msleamichele @yoabbaabba

"Wowwww @MrRPMurphy you created another amazing show! @ScreamQueens is absolutely incredible."

Scream Queens has also scored itself a cameo in the form of music star Ariana Grande, who celebrated by watching the first two episodes with friends.

"had a @ScreamQueens viewing party and wow everyone was so amazing on it!! so thankful to have been a part!.... maybe you'll see more of me (sic)," she teased.
