Kylie Jenner: I’m not engaged

Reality TV star Kylie Jenner has put a stop to rumours she’s engaged, insisting her boyfriend Tyga was joking when he called her his fiancée.

The two stars shot into the headlines this week (beg21Sep15) when the rapper seemingly referred to Kylie as his fiancée in a video posted on social media app Snapchat.

Now Kylie has opened up about it during a video shoot with her half-sister Kim Kardashian and posted on Kylie’s new website. Kim asked Kylie about Tyga’s remark, prompting the 18-year-old star to set the record straight.

“He was making fun of an Instagram he posted 30 minutes before,” she explained. “He knew there was this guy who was on Instagram who was like, 'I don't like nobody. I just play with my fiancée and my little dog.'"

It was then time for more hard-hitting questions, with Kim asking Kylie how it felt to have “dethroned” her. This was in reference to claims Kylie is now more famous than her sibling, who is widely viewed as the best known of the Kardashian clan.

Kylie refused to accept that was true, but pregnant Kim assured her she was just kidding.

“I love it, I need some time off,” she smiled.

The brunette did make it clear that it would take more than a few Snapchat videos for Kylie to achieve her level of notoriety though.

“I mean, honey, let's be real, you gotta put in a few years before you actually dethrone me," she added. "But I want to pass on the baton to you. Who better to pass on the knowledge to? You guys, I give her all the tricks. She is so, like, deserving. If I want to share my clothes, my tips, my glam squad, it is to King Kylie.”

Although they were just teasing each other, Kylie’s star has been rising of late. Her relationship with Tyga has been the subject of intense speculation, with the pair only confirming it around the time of her birthday last month (10Aug15). She’s also been forced to admit to having lip-plumping injections and denied increasing her bust size surgically.
