KStew: I'm not coming out

Kristen Stewart isn't "coming out".

The 25-year-old actress famously dated her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson for several years on and off until her affair with married director Rupert Sanders caused them to split for good in 2012.

While her ex has moved on with musician FKA Twigs, Kristen's relationship status has remained a mystery as reports claim she has become close to her female assistant Alicia. She hasn't commented on the rumours, and has remained coy when questioned about her sexuality in a new interview.

“If you feel like you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it. But I am an actress, man. I live in the f**king ambiguity of this life and I love it," she explained to Nylon magazine. "I don’t feel like it would be true for me to be like, ‘I’m coming out!’ No, I do a job. Until I decide that I’m starting a foundation or that I have some perspective or opinion that other people should be receiving... I don’t. I’m just a kid making movies.”

Earlier this year her mother Jules seemingly confirmed her daughter is dating Alicia when she revealed she accepts Kristen loves men and women, though she has since insisted her quotes were made up.

For the star, she doesn't think it's a big deal to label herself. In fact she sees things changing when it comes to identity in the future.

“I think in three or four years, there are going to be a whole lot more people who don’t think it’s necessary to figure out if you’re gay or straight. It’s like, just do your thing," she added.

Kristen also commented on how she is perceived by people, admitting she feels as though she has her own weekly comic book with the comments made about her. One of these has been that she never smiles, which she recently laughed off.
