Kristen Stewart has sleep disorder

Kristen Stewart has a sleep disorder which has disrupted her internal body clock.

The 'Twilight' actress has undergone acupuncture to help get her night time problems under control as she can't seem to fall asleep when other people are resting and her random rest pattern leaves her constantly feeling jittery.

In an interview with the latest UK issue of ELLE magazine, she explained: "I'm a high frequency person. I wake up here [she points above her head] and then as the day progresses, most people systematically produce less adrenaline so they are ready to sleep but I have this fight or flight thing - I just won't come down. It doesn't debilitate me. If I'm not sleeping, I'm fine. It doesn't worry me. I have no problem with odd hours."

When the 26-year-old screen beauty can't sleep she plays her drums but, due to her bizarre sleep habits, she's had to get a soundproof wall installed so she doesn't disturb her neighbours.

She said: "I have one room that's soundproof so I can play drums really loud."

And that's not her only favourite pastime as Kristen also thoroughly enjoys flicking through her friends' profiles on dating app Tinder for fun.

Kristen - who is in a happy relationship with her girlfriend Alicia Cargile, who previously worked as her assistant - explained: "I'm always like, 'Wait, let me see!' It's so fun, I've looked over shoulders and been like, 'You should say this...' And I have through swiping sessions but I'll mess them up sometimes and I'll swipe the wrong direction."
