Kim Cattrall wants a boyfriend.

The 'Sex and the City' star has been married three times but having split from her last husband jazz bassist Mark Levinson in 2004, she's on the look-out for a new man, even though she wouldn't walk up the aisle with him.

Asked if she would get married again, she said: "I don't think there's a need to. But I would like to be in a relationship. It's a way for me to express love and devotion and support. And I can cook, too!"

The 59-year-old actress insisted she doesn't have a longing to settle down with anyone but confessed she does miss having someone to share her life with because although her career keeps her busy, she misses the intimacy of a relationship.

She told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I don't get the twinge of: 'Oh, I wish I was a mum' or 'I wish I was married', and what I have with my girlfriends is pretty damn good, but I sometimes miss the closeness of a relationship, being single woman at this age. A career can give you many things but it can also isolate you. As a friend of mine said, it doesn't keep you warm at night."
