Khloe Kardashian: 'I've let go of toxic people'
Reality star Khloe Kardashian has posted a cryptic message on Instagram about toxic people and self love.
The 31-year-old wrote a rambling message on the social networking site on Saturday (20Feb16), and while it isn't known who the post was about, Khloe made it clear she wouldn't carry any dead weight in her life.
"Never be fearful of letting go, for sometimes holding on can damage you deeper," she wrote. "Those scars run deep. There's a huge difference between giving up and letting go. Giving up means you are selling yourself short. It means allowing fear to limit your opportunities and keep you cemented in place. Stuck. Letting go means freeing yourself from something that is no longer beneficial to your personal growth. It means removing toxic people and toxic mindsets from your life so that you can make room for relationships and ideas that are conducive to your happiness and ever evolving personal expansion."
Khloe added that while giving up is self-defeat, letting go is self-love and no one needs someone else's approval to be happy in life.
The star encouraged her followers to take control and dictate their own lives, and never let anyone else decide their future for them.
"We are no victims to life," she said. "No prisoners. But we do become victims and prisoners to the people we choose to surround ourselves with. We tend to become content, passive and blind within our relationships. Whether it be a family member, business partner, friend or a lover. Out of comfort and possibly fear. The unknown will leave you stuck in a bad situation. Choosing comfort over your own happiness."
Khloe believes by letting go, an individual puts themselves first instead of holding on to negativity which they don't deserve.
"Removing toxic people from your life is only allowing room for a positive flow to elevate your mind, body and soul." she explained. "Not everyone who started with you will finish with you. Be ok with that. “God Helps Those Who Help Themselves.”
Khloe recently split from boyfriend James Harden and was also pictured with estranged husband Lamar Odom at Kanye West's New York Fashion Week show.
