She said: "We don't know [the gender], yeah. I'm open -- honestly, healthy, happy baby -- that's what we want."
Despite her anxieties about never having lived in a family with more than one child, the 'Django Unchained' actress confessed she is "excited" about the prospect of more children, and she thinks their family is "going to be great".
She said: "We're all really excited. We'll see how it all plays out. I'm an only child, so I'm like, 'What's this going to be like?' But I think it's going to be great."
However, the 'Confirmation' star is bound to be concerned about adding to her broad as she previously admitted that giving birth to her first child Isabelle turned her world "upside down in the most beautiful way."
She said: "You know it [motherhood] just turns your world upside down in the most beautiful way. She [Isabelle] makes me better, I hope, every day. I feel very lucky to be her mum.
"I will say I feel really, really blessed. I just feel really blessed that I'm kind of living extraordinary dreams come true in my work life and in my personal life."
