Kendra: Hank and I welcome challenges
Kendra Wilkinson admits marriage is a “lifetime of ups and downs”.
The 30-year-old former Playboy model wed Hank Baskett six years ago. However, the pair’s union hit a roadblock last year when sportsman Hank was accused of cheating with a transgender model.
Now they are doing their utmost to put the allegations behind them and move on with their lives.
But Kendra, who has two children with Hank, is fully aware that they are sure to face further challenges in their union.
"Marriage is a lifetime of ups and downs," Kendra told Us Weekly. "And Hank and I welcome the challenges that will continue to help us recommit our lives to each other and look forward to growing as partners for years to come."
Kendra’s interview came after it was claimed in Life & Style Weekly magazine that she was gearing up to divorce Hank and was being nasty to him to make her intentions clear.
However, Kendra insists the allegations are entirely false.
"Honestly, what kind of mother would invite that kind of chaos and pain into her home?" she added. "Their reporting is so flawed. I am, though, sad to see anyone root so hard for a marriage to fail. I don’t feel the need to defend the authenticity of my marriage, my family or my business anymore."
Hank recently opened up about what happened in the situation that led to the infidelity claims.
According to the former American football player, things spun out of control after he tried to buy some marijuana from a couple in a grocery store car park. He was given a phone number, called it and was told an address. Hank turned up at the place, and after using the bathroom was met by a naked transgender woman making out with another transgender woman.
