Kelly Brook plans to 'cry' after One Big Happy axe
Kelly Brook is "going off to cry" following the cancellation of 'One Big Happy'.
The 35-year-old actress starred in the US sitcom - which lasted only six episodes - and has taken to Instagram to thank her co-stars and to express her sadness that the show has already been axed by NBC.
Kelly wrote: "I will miss this Family so much. We Laughed, Cried and ate a lot of Cheese together over the past 18months. Friendships for Life not just a Season (sic).
"I wish you all the best and can't wait to see you go on and Shine in other projects and your own individual ones.
"I learnt so much from everyone of you. Love you with all my heart Going off to cry now."
The Ellen Degeneres-backed show was cancelled due to underwhelming viewing figures allied to poor reviews from TV critics.
However, it has been claimed the US network was nervous about scrapping the show because of its links to Ellen.
A TV insider said: "NBC made a point of not leaking the news to prevent the culling being such big news. It is a huge snub to Ellen and also given the marketing budget for the show makes many top brass look stupid."
