Katie Price's latest tell-all autobiography has been pushed back a year due to "scheduling issues".

Publishers Penguin Random House confirmed that her sixth autobiography - which was set to be released next month - will now hit shelves in October 2016.

The publishers released a statement today, saying: "Katie Price's autobiography, Reborn, is to be put back a year due to unavoidable scheduling issues; and will now publish in October 2016."

The news comes after the death of Rebecca Farnworth, the ghostwriter of her first five autobiographies and nine novels, in December 2014 at the age of 49 from cancer.

Price joked earlier in the year that the bombshell revelations in her latest book would force her to leave the country.

"I think people are always shocked by what's happened to me. My next book is out in October and, oh my God, I think I'd better leave the country when it comes out," she told MailOnline.

"There are lots of things in this one I left out of the last one. There are a couple of guys in there who've upset me so I think it's about time I tell the truth about them. They're household names," Price added.

Price has also teased that she will be discussing a brief relationship she had with an A-lister before meeting current husband Kieran Hayler. "He's a world-famous professional and it's... oh my God, if people knew. He's British," she said.

Her first autobiography, Being Jordan, sold more than a million copies and she published her fifth, Love, Lipstick and Lies, in 2013.
