John Krasinski: Emily Blunt is my 'hero'
John Krasinski says Emily Blunt is his "hero in every single way".
The 'Office' star has gushed about his wife, admitting he is "blown away by her" all the time.
He said: "My wife is my hero in every single way. Truly every single day I'm blown away by her. So I'm always looking to her for inspiration."
The 36-year-old actor recently welcomed his second child Violet into the world and admits being a father has changed his perspective on things.
Discussing his new movie 'The Hollars', he added: "I did understand my character's sort of plot a little better, being the guy on the doorstep of being a father. I understood my parents better.
"Immediately I was even more thankful for having a loving relationship with my brothers. Then you start thinking about the bigger idea of who's been here before you, and where you're headed, and continuing on."
And John - who also has two-year-old Hazel with Emily - can't believe the opportunities he has been given in his work.
Speaking to Willie Geist on Sunday Today, he shared: "I am living a lottery ticket life. I don't even know if I deserved to be here. I just love that people are giving me the opportunity."
Meanwhile, John previously revealed he and Emily try to have one date night a week.
He said: "If we aren't working, we're at home with the kids. We raise our kids, and we're very important and present in our kids' lives.
"But at the end of the day, it's important to preserve your relationship. It's really fun because I have an amazing wife who also will go out on dates on me. We do one date a week at least where it's just us."
