Jennifer Lawrence raises $10k by swearing

Jennifer Lawrence has raised $10,000 for charity by swearing.

The 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2' star managed to rake in the staggering sum just by shouting obscenities during an appearance on Conan O'Brien's talk show 'Conan' .

While discussing the blonde beauty's "potty mouth" alongside her co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, Conan challenged Jennifer to a swear off and promised her $100 for every curse word she could utter in 30 seconds for the charity of her choice.

He said : "You have quite the potty mouth. I have experienced it... yes you do."

To which Jennifer replied: "I'm just learning this about myself.... I think I have like body and personality dysmorphia."

He continued: "Well here is what I was thinking. I think we should use this special talent of yours for good. We have a swear jar right here and what we thought we do. I will put 100 dollars into this swear jar for every swear you can say in 30 seconds, and then I will double that amount and all the money will go to the charity of your choice."

The 24-year-old actress then reeled off a host of offensive remarks and rude words including "motherf**ker" and "nipples" before Conan, 52, announced she had managed to clock up a huge $10,000.

He said: "Here's what we'll do. I'm not good at money and such but I'm guessing that's around $5,000, we'll double it. $10,000 to charity. We did some good! And no one at home will hear any of that..."

Continuing the X-rated chat, Jennifer - who appeared on the show to promote the final instalment of the 'Hunger Games' saga with her co-stars - joked that viewers could expect a steamy scene featuring all three of their characters.

When Conan said: "There are a lot of fans out there, of course there's been a love triangle with your characters now for years, they're saying let's just resolve this with a threesome. You hear that a lot from fans of you now."

The pretty star replied: "That's why for the second part of 'Mockingjay' we were just like 'let's do it. They want the gang bang, let's give them the gang bang'. Honestly, seriously, go and see 'Mockingjay Part 2', you will not be disappointed."

Viewers in the UK can catch 'Conan' Mondays-Thursdays at 3am on truTV on Freeview channel 68.
