Jennifer Lawrence on matching Amy Schumer at the Golden Globes

Jennifer Lawrence wants to match Amy Schumer at next year's Golden Globe Awards (16).

The 25-year-old actress will be up against her comedienne friend in the Best Actress category at the annual ceremony, for their roles in the films Joy and Trainwreck respectively.

Jennifer and Amy have become close friends over the past year, and have teamed up to work on a highly-anticipated comedy movie, in which they play sisters.

To make their appearance at the Globes even more special, Jennifer revealed she and Amy are planning to wear the same thing as they walk the red carpet ahead of the annual ceremony.

"We're going to try to figure out to wear the exact same thing," Jennifer told E! News. "That's my mission. I really want us to wear the same thing."

But there is one stipulation for the ensemble - it must be Dior. Jennifer has been the face of the fashion company for the past three years, and will be wearing an item from them for the occasion.

"She's going to have to wear Dior," Jennifer said about Amy's outfit. "I'm just going to have to have Dior make two of whatever they're making for me."

Following the announcement of the Golden Globe nominations, Amy was quick to declare war against her former pal.

“As soon as I saw that we were both nominated, I took her right out of my phone because our friendship is obviously over,” she joked to Entertainment Weekly magazine. “It’s really every woman for herself at this point, and I don’t want her to kind of get in my head, you know?”

If she plans to win the Globe, Amy faces tough competition from Jennifer as well as actresses including Brie Larson - who played her sister in Trainwreck.

But Amy insisted she will be happy if Brie or Jennifer walk away with the gong, as she is so proud of their talents.

"Room blew me away,” Amy said of Brie's upcoming film. “Brie’s performance in that just completely floored me and my sister, and I just love her so much. And Jen, I haven’t seen Joy yet. I get to see it this Sunday, and I just can’t wait. But she always knocks it so far out of the park.”
