Jennifer Garner overwhelmed by 'loving' support
Actress Jennifer Garner has been overwhelmed by the “loving” reaction she’s had to her revealing Vanity Fair interview.
The actress recently broke her silence and spoke out about her painful split from husband Ben Affleck, who she separated from last year (15) after a decade of marriage. Her candid comments may have raised some eyebrows, but Jennifer insists she’s only had positive responses from those around her.
“It’s been very loving,” she told ET when asked about how the interview has been received.
During the interview, Jennifer said her former husband “broke her heart”. When the pair split, Ben was faced with allegations that he cheated on the Dallas Buyer's Club star with the family's nanny, Christine Ouzounian, 28. During the interview Jennifer also criticised him for showing "bad judgment" concerning the alleged affair.
Insiders claimed Ben was “floored” by her comments and although he was aware she would be giving an interview he had no idea how much she was planning to reveal.
The couple have two daughters Violet,10, and Seraphina, seven, and son Samuel, four, together.
Jennifer is currently promoting her new movie Miracles From Heaven, a faith-based drama.
The 43-year-old star hopes that the film will help to inspire people and bring positivity to their lives. She is also excited about watching it with her daughters.
"I look forward to my girls seeing it, but for anyone, I hope they take a message of hope and encouragement," Jennifer added, explaining that she wants the film to show people they "can march through hard things one foot in front of the other, one step at a time."
