Jennifer Aniston 'ready to adopt'
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are ready to start a family now they've tied the knot, reports claim.
The Hollywood couple surprised friends and family by throwing a last minute wedding earlier this month at the home next to their Bel Air mansion. It was an A-list affair, with Jimmy Kimmel officiating and both Howard Stern and Robert Downey Jr. giving speeches.
It was a long time coming for the couple, who got engaged in 2012, and it's thought they're now ready to move onto the next stage of their new life together.
"Jen and Justin are itching to have a baby and wanted to marry first so they can have their perfect family unit. They're planning on adopting from the US as Jen's always felt strongly about giving a child from her own doorstep a home," a source told British magazine Closer. "Jen's always had a strong maternal instinct, but has accepted she may not fall pregnant naturally and she's not keen on surrogacy either, so adoption seemed the perfect option for them."
Jennifer, 46, is said to be thrilled to be Justin's wife and is pleased they managed to keep their intimate ceremony under wraps. It's thought there were only around 75 guests, including Jennifer's former Friends co-stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow. The way they managed to trick guests into attending is by claiming it was a birthday for Justin, who turned 44 earlier this week.
"It was an extremely casual and low-key affair - just like one of Jen and Justin's house parties - and with their own twist. They made sure there were lots of personal touches such as a strawberry wedding cake made by Jen's favourite LA bakery, Hansen's. It had two muppets on top - which was fitting given that's how they refer to themselves!" the insider smiled.
