Gigi Hadid's mother and stepfather split
Gigi Hadid's mother and stepfather have split up.
Yolanda and David Foster - who have been married for four years - announced their break up in a joint statement released to PEOPLE on Tuesday (01.12.15).
They said: "Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways. We've shared nine beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues."
'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Yolanda, 51, who is battling Lyme disease, was previously married to Gigi's father Mohamed Hadid from 1994 to 2000.
They also have children Bella and Anwar together.
Meanwhile, music producer David, 66, has five children from his three marriages to Linda Thompson, Rebecca Dyer, and B.J. Cook.
Yolanda was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012 and it has been claimed this is one of the reasons their marriage failed.
A source told Us Weekly: "She didn't think he was there for her."
It is not yet clear if either David or Yolanda has filed for divorce.
