Evan Ross: Most of my life was all wrong
Evan Ross has admitted how he lived life in the past was the completely “wrong” approach.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 actor married Ashlee Simpson in August 2014 and they welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Jagger, last July.
And Evan feels he wasn’t really able to gauge what is truly important before settling down and having a family.
"I've been wrong a long majority of my life," he told ET Online. "The biggest thing in this world is in love. I'm so in love. I love my daughter, I love my wife. She's given me the best gift in the world. I'm very lucky."
Evan is also stepfather to Ashlee’s six-year-old son Bronx, who she shares with ex-husband Pete Wentz.
He absolutely loves the "beyond life-changing" experience of being a father, especially to his and Ashlee’s newborn Jagger.
"She's the most beautiful thing you could ever think of," he gushed. "I'm proud to be a dad, and I'm going to make sure she knows she's loved, and that's all I can do."
After older sister Jessica Simpson hit it big as a singer, Ashlee followed in her footsteps by taking a stab at making it in the music industry. Ashlee released three successful albums including 2004’s Autobiography, 2005’s I Am Me and Bittersweet World in 2008.
Evan, who is the son of legendary songstress Diana Ross, revealed he and Ashlee are now finding even more ways to express their love for each other through penning tunes together.
"We have a song together called Permission to Love, and we've been working on music for a while," he noted. "She's so talented, whatever she can give me I'll take."
