Eddie Redmayne and wife 'expecting a baby' - report

Actor Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe are reportedly expecting their first child together.

The Danish Girl star tied the knot with the public relations executive on 15 December 2014 and just over a year since their wedding date, it's claimed they are giddily informing loved ones she is pregnant.

“Eddie and Hannah are delighted and extremely excited," a source told UK newspaper The Sun. "They don’t want to find out the sex of the baby but are happy to tell close friends and family they’re expecting."

Eddie, who scooped up an Academy Award for Best Actor due to his work in 2014 biopic The Theory of Everything, allegedly feels even more accomplished now that parenthood is before him.

“It’s been a year to remember for Eddie after getting married, winning an Oscar and now becoming a dad," the insider said.

Eddie and Hannah, both 33 years old, are supposedly hunting for a proper family home at the moment. The spouses are native to Britain and even though his career is taking off in Hollywood, it is unlikely they will be moving to Los Angeles.

"Eddie says that he will not be going to Hollywood," a source told Radar Online previously. "He and Hannah are completely content with staying in England because they are both very close to their family, and her work is there.

"They are such a normal couple and are two of the most down-to-earth people you will ever meet. They do not spend lavishly and although Hannah looks shy and reserved, when you are around them, it is quite the opposite. She is very comfortable being his wife and she definitely keeps him grounded.”

In November (15), the handsome actor gushed about how the honeymoon phase seems to be continuous since he and his other half tied the knot.

"I love being married," he gushed to America's Glamour magazine. "I feel so settled in my skin. So lucky to have the most wonderful, supportive, beautiful wife."
