Dr Phil: Kanye West is looking for publicity
Dr Phil says Kanye West's recent outbursts are a ploy for publicity.
While chat show host Chelsea Handler labelled Kanye as "unstable" for his foul-mouthed rants on social media and his renewed feud with Taylor Swift after he claimed he made her famous, Dr Phil believes Kanye knows exactly what he's doing.
He told 'The Late Late Show' host James Corden: "You can't be that wrong, that many times in a row, unless you're working on it.
"We're talking about it, aren't we? We are here talking about. He just gets up and says something, and so, here we are talking about it, so it's working."
Dr Phil's comments come after Chelsea blasted Kanye as "a maniac", saying: "He's unstable and he's delusional. And now he'll have a mental breakdown in front of everybody, even though he's been in this state for years.
"I've always thought he's a maniac, and he just sounds like more of one. He's always been delusional.
"He's acted like this for years and now people are acting surprised that he's acting like this."
Referencing the beginning of Kanye's feud with Taylor, where he interrupted her MTV VMAs acceptance speech in 2009 to declare Beyonce Knowles should have won Best Female Video, Chelsea added: "He did this to Taylor Swift five or six years ago. He went up and stole her award. And no one thought he was nuts then?"
