Video and Pics: Dave Grohl breaks leg on stage but plays on
The Foo Fighters front man broke his leg after falling off stage in Gothenberg but he played on like a real trooper.
The Foo Fighters frontman sustained the serious injury during the band's performance of 'Under Pressure' at their concert in Gothenburg, Sweden, last night.
The 46-year-old star even tried to carry on singing after falling into a security run at the side of the stage before lying down on the ground and informing the crowd of his injury.
He said: "I think I just broke my leg.
"I'm going to go to hospital. I'm going to fix my leg. And then I'm going to come back.
"You have my promise right now that the Foo Fighters - we're going to come back and finish the show."
An eyewitness has since confirmed to BBC News that the band's remaining members Pat Smear, Nate Mendel, Taylor Hawkins and Chris Shifflet stayed on stage to perform covers until Dave returned in a wheelchair to finish off the set.
And this X-ray posted after the concert by the band on Twitter shows the extent of the leg break.
